Title: Speeder Bike

Medium: Insulation foam, pvc, glue, cardboard, plastic bowls, Big League Chew, coffee.

Inspired by the movie Return Of The Jedi, the form of this sculpture is the artists own custom speeder bike. For Justin, this piece is about two experiences that he has had; one being an adult, and the other being a child. As an adult he often fantasizes of riding a motor cycle even though he would never get on one. As a child he often fantasized about riding a speeder bike in Return Of The Jedi.

Most of the sculpture is covered in Big League Chew. Justin recalls chewing the gum in the dug out in little league, wishing it was real tobacco. It was times like these were he couldn't wait to be an adult. As an adult Justin has to deal with dead lines and did not have enough time to finish the piece with gum; he felt the best solution would be to finish it with black coffee.

He felt that it was a very adult thing to do. He felt that coffee can often give adults more time to get things done.
