Medium: Vinyl, Wood, PVC, Sketch Books, Vacuum, Rubber , Air Filter, Silk Screen, Motion Detector, Cigarettes, Ashtray, Cigarette Smoke Stained Paper.

In this piece the viewer is invited to sit at a restaurant booth and smoke a cigarette. In front of them there is a sketch book. By sitting down they activate a motion detector which turns on a vacuum under there seat. The vacuum pulls the smoke through the sketch book, at the same time staining the paper and creating an image. The images are of classical sketches that Justin had done in the past. For Justin this pieces is about his art education. One being very classically trained; and the other going to a contemporary art school. In the academy he learned how to paint and sculpt the figure. In the more contemporary art school he learned how to work with many different materials; one including smoke. It was in cafe's and bars were he often thought, pondered and discussed the issues he was being taught in both schools.
